There was this one day not too long ago when all 3 of my kids got sent home for ridiculous stuff. Tommy got sent home first because he wrote “I love hummus” all over his pants. Then it was Julia, sent home for trying to sneak a stray kitten into the school, then arguing with her teacher and calling her “a coldhearted poopface”. Then Ava got sent home for flipping her music teacher off because she didn’t want to sing Yankee Doodle. So since they were all home we made ice cream sundaes and watched Star Wars.
