Both of us knew we wanted more.

He picked me up a few blocks from my house that morning.

Away from the neighbors who had nothing more to do than stare out their bay windows and gossip.

We drove for a while,

eyes meeting,

skin blushing,

hearts racing.

We didn’t know where to go 

We just knew we needed to be closer 

We found a place that I had forgotten all about in a town not too far from our own. 

Down a hill, through some woods and down a muddy trail. 

We stopped at the truss.

He got out of his truck. 

Was I really going to do this?

No excuses, no where to go.

It was a beautiful day.

Like fate had changed the weather to allow us to be comfortable.

My legs shook as he opened the door and turned me toward him.

Kisses instant. 

Lips traveling downward. 

I tried to resist, but didn’t even get the word “No” out.

I watched as he undressed and was in awe at his perfection.

I looked down at his strong hands on my bare legs.

He entered me slowly,

Shaking like it was his first time.

I surrendered to him,

Letting all of me be his, 

To do as he pleased.

He was rough 

Primitive

We were savage,

Unapologetic,

Completely indulgent

Yet, everything was beautiful

And nothing hurt

When we couldn’t take anymore 

When we were spent 

And lying there

Wearing nothing but each other

We smiled

He walked down the truss

Looked over the edge 

Pulling his long, sweat soaked hair back

As I realized I was in deep.
